The Sunset Ridge PTO At a Glance

Our mission is to enhance the educational experience of all Sunset Ridge students. We do this by partnering with staff to learn the most immediate needs of the school, fostering relationships in the community, encouraging a diversity of voices and fundraising so we can fund as many of those needs as we can.

The PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. This means, we are all the PTO. While our level of involvement will differ from person to person, we want everyone to know they are a part of this organization and have a voice. If you are interested in a specific role, there are positions available.

The PTO organizes many events throughout the year. Boo-Fest is the next big event, but there are many more!

Here are a couple of quick ways you can begin earning money for our school:

1) Save receipts for Serramonte Center’s Earning For Learning

2) Download the Box Tops for Education app to scan any shopping receipts to earn $0.10 per participating product. (Target matches the Box Tops from your receipts!). It really adds up!

The PTO spends the money it collects on Art and Language education, Field Trips, and teacher support.
